You may have been dreaming about it. A vacation home to rest, unwind, have quality time just by yourself or someone special or with the family Well, summer is almost here and it might be the best time to make that dream become reality.

The last years have changed our routines of working in an office or from home. Working from home has added benefits and flexibility where one can live and work without being tight to a location. Working from home has saved money on fuel and car and other transportation expenses and also possibly on clothing and eating out etc..

Buying a second home is now more appealing, since many work now from home and location is not anymore such a big issue. So, working from a “vacation” home is now definitely an option.

Also, if one likes to vacation in a certain area and comes back year after year, why not own a little place there rather than making due in a hotel or renting a place. In your own place, you can do what you like but one can rent it out to generate income when not staying there yourself.
