Banh Mi Sandwiches in Charleston? Yes!! I love a good Banh Mi Sandwich and have been wanting to try this place for a while. The foodie Facebook groups talk a lot about Bon Banh Mi and now I can understand why.
The inside of the restaurant is a laid-back bar feel with a great bar you can sit at or some tables as well. The servers are all very nice and welcoming when you enter.
They have a lot of great-looking options like Drunken Noodles or Duck Fried Rice. I decided on their classic five-spice ground pork as a sandwich. You can also have a salad, taco, or bowl. The sandwich had everything you would expect in a Banh Mi Sandwich. Pickled carrots, cilantro, and spicy mayo. It was really delish and exactly what I was hoping for.
Next time I think I will try the Drunken Noodles but I don't think you can go wrong.
