CenterWell Primary Care

As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and a REALTOR, in order to be of assistance to 50+ home buyers and sellers, I try to stay aware of the different services available that are designed specifically to lend support to seniors.  I attend local groups that offer different services to the 50+ community.  

CenterWell is a Primary Care group whose main focus is Senior care.  They have two locations, one in North Charleston and the other in Charleston:

I visited the location in Charleston and met with Thomas Hudak, the Community Engagement Professional, and he took me on a tour of the facility.

Their offices are immaculate, and I was very impressed with their approach to Senior care. There is an Activity Center where they conduct fun events such as Bingo, Calm Coloring, and Crafts.  In addition, they hold educational sessions for “Managing Anxiety,” “Habits of Happy People,” and more.  

The facility has an on-site lab for convenience, physicians, a social worker, Nurse Practitioners, Behavioral Health Specialist, and a Care Coach.  The examining rooms are designed with equipment and chairs to be more comfortable for easy and convenient access. The goal is to have shorter wait times without rushing through appointments, and 24/7 phone access to the care team is available.
