Happy Hour the Charleston Way

It's a well-known fact that Charlestonians enjoy the occasional (or often :) liquid libation. And some of these locals also enjoy this social activity without running up a huge tab. So without further adieu, here are some of the best happy hours in town. Of course, we'll get to real estate in a bit. :)

For those in Mount Pleasant, you can't beat the bargain presented by Pier 41. Everyone enjoys a good glass of champ - but how 'bout a $2 glass of champagne! They'll even up their game and offer $1 champagne glasses on Mondays! If champagne isn't your bag, try their $5 martinis on Thursday. So now your only worry is, do you like it shaken or stirred?

If you're looking for more of a downtown experience, try Maison on upper King. This newish establishment brings a ton of downtown chic with a French twist. Oui, oui! From 5-7, you can enjoy classics such as a French 75 or Cognac Daiquiri for only $5. For those who frequent the peninsula, you know that's an amazing value! Of course, there are some well-thought-out wine selections, too.

Just down the road from Maison is another stellar happy hour venue, Faculty Lounge. This vibey haunt with hipster clientele is owned by neighboring Renzo and serves amazing hand-crafted cocktails. From 6-7, you can get their mystery drink (last time I went I got a sumptuous spicy pineapple margarita) for $4.

Reach out! Let's find an amazing home within walking distance of any of these fine establishments.
