Life in Nexton: Season 3 premiere of "Rock the Block" in Nexton!

To continue on with my "Life in Nexton" Blogs, I am sharing something that I am so excited about in Nexton.  As you may have read, in a previous Blog, HGTV's Season 3 of "Rock the Block" was filmed right here in Nexton! "Rock the Block" is a design competition that puts 4 teams up against each other to see who can create the ideal home design in the community.  Each team of professionals receives $225,000 to design and style their assigned home in 6 weeks and the results will blow you away!
 
The homes are basically in my backyard, in the Midtown Subsection of Nexton.  Watching the homes go up and the filming in my Neighborhood has been exhilarating.  The homes are all built by Hunter Quinn, one of my favorite Builders in the Low Country. Even though they are all the same floorplan, each home has its own identity and personality.  "Rock the Block" airs Monday, February 28th on HGTV.
