The Myers Mill community is named after the Meyer family. It was a small agricultural community, but in 1940, a fire destroyed much of it. Around the 1950s, this small community had a population of about 50, with about 10 homes, a church, a cotton gin, and a railroad stop.

Myers Mill is a very pretty and well-planned out neighborhood where one can find homes between 1,500 and 3,400sqft. The builder offered the homebuyers to select their custom features from a large variety of finishes and options like flooring, cabinetry, bathroom, and light fixtures.

There are one and two-story floorplans with 3 to 5 bedrooms, at least 2 full baths, attached 2-car garage, and range from 1500 to 3400 sqft.

Although all of these houses have vinyl siding, there are many different colors, and brick and stone have been incorporated into the exterior design.

Another selling point for Myers Mill is the highly sought-after zoned Dorchester 2 School District (Knightsville Elementary, Dubose Middle, and Summerville High are the schools for Myers Mill) and amenities, including playground, and a swimming pool with a pool house.
