Poogan’s for the Win a 2nd Time!

We circled back to Poogan’s Southern Kitchen in the growing Nexton community, which we previously featured in a 2022 post, to check out their brunch menu. We opted for seating on the patio to take in the sunshine and breeze.

Today we ordered a Lowcountry favorite, Shrimp and Grits, that came steaming hot and covered in juicy shrimp, sausage, peppers, onions, and gravy.

The French Toast topped with sweet creamy butter and fresh berries was a hit, and the Chicken and Waffles topped with maple syrup was the perfect balance of savory and sweet! We can’t forget to mention the Mimosa that made its way to the table and definitely made the meal complete!
