As if we didn't already have enough fun in Nexton, things just got a whole lot more exciting!
Season 3 HGTV's hit show, Rock the Block, is not only being filmed in Nexton, but the "Set'" is also at the end of my road! (Yup I was about doing cartwheels when I found out)
There are lots of insanely talented names you'll recognize if you are (also) an HGTV Guru. HGTV Stars Dave and Jenny Mars (Fixer to Fabulous), Leslie Davis and Lyndsay Lamb (Unsellable Houses), Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson (Married to Real Estate), Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas (Bargain Block), and Design expert and Host Ty Pennington are moving into Midtown, Nexton's Newest Neighborhood!
Here's the Premis, Rock the Block is a Design Competition Show in which 4 teams face off in a Design Battle each week for bragging rights and a street named after the winning team. All 4 homes are identical; these gorgeous homes pictured are done by Hunter Quinn. Each team is given 6 weeks and a budget of $225,000 to make the inside shine. I can't wait to see what these talented designers do to these Lowcountry Beauties....stay tuned!
