I can honestly say, this is probably THE MOST ANTICIPATED BUSINESS to open in Nexton to date.....welcome THE PICKLE BAR!! This Elevated Sports Bar with Designated Pickleball Courts will have all its courts and Bar/Restaurant on WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 15th! It will be located in Nexton's new mixed-use hot spot, "The Hub at Nexton".
Co-Founders and Sisters, Alisa Tolliver and Tina Piscazzi started playing Pickleball during COVID and quickly realized what a following the game had gained in Charleston. They saw a need to have designated courts where anyone can play; there are both covered and uncovered courts. And they said, "Why stop there?" They decided to make a full entertainment space with a yard, stage for performers, rooms for private parties, and the most amazing Sports Bar Summerville has seen! It is outfitted with TV's throughout the Bar & Restaurant Area for watching the games. Also, the outdoor area is Dog Friendly, so bring along your 4-legged family members!
The Courts are open and ready....just book online at thepicklebar.com. There are several different workshops for all different levels and Open Play throughout the week. For an uncovered court, it is only $12 per court to play and $24 for covered! There is also a separate court and room for private parties.
Not only is there a Full Bar AND Food Service outside, but what they call an "Elevated Bar Menu with a Southern Twist." There will be some bar classics, but also quite a few healthier options.. Some dishes I can't wait to try are the Pickle Dip, Quinoa & Lentil Bowls, and the Big Pig Sandwich! Just to be noted, the Bar will be open, but they will be offering a "Snack Menu '' for the first few weeks of business. They are still hiring for the Kitchen Staff if you love Pickleball and want to be part of the team!
