There are many tips in the newspaper, TV, radio, your local stores and on the Internet. And we all have a bit of procrastination in us. Just do at least a few things in time:
1) plan your evacuation route
2) take pictures of your house inside and outside
3) buy non-perishable food items
4) have flashlights and ample batteries
5) review the insurance policy and make an extra copy
6) have phone numbers of family and friends, your bank and insurance company handy
7) paper towels, bathroom tissue, handy wipes
