Last time we discussed curb appeal, this time, we will discuss the inside.
Again first impressions are important. Maybe start with a little decluttering to make the space look as spacious as possible, clear countertops of unnecessary items, the same with cupboards and closets, you may want to pack up some boxes, have a yard sale to make some extra money or donate to a thrift store or Habitat for humanity.
Look around as a potential buyer would be. Are all the lights and fans working, are there any dripping faucets? If the walls or ceilings need a fresh coat of paint, now may be the time to do those.
Another important thing to do is clean and make everything as clean and fresh as possible, so when buyers walk in, the home looks and smells wonderful!
