Buying and Selling a Home During Covid-19

You may be reading this because you're thinking of buying or selling a home or it may be because you've been couped up and will read anything that is in front of you...even the cereal box!

This is a different time for everyone. We have to take precautions and adapt to the situation at hand. Every business has been affected by the Corona Virus. We usually go about our day doing things we're used to doing. Now it's time to think outside the box.

I started doing videos of my home listings as soon as I heard the word that people were leery about shaking hands.  Virtual walkthroughs help the buyer see the home from the minute they step in the front door. 

I speak about and show the selling points of the homes ie: smooth ceilings, new windows, etc. I also ask the homeowners to have their homes 'show ready' which in today's market means 'open all interior doors and turn on all lights'. It limits the number of things that have to be 'touched' during a showing. I also set my listings up with wipes, sanitizer, booties, etc. 

There are serious buyers out there! Showings are inevitable. Some people are relocating, some are coming to the end of their rental leases and were hoping to buy their own home. Whether you're a seller or a buyer in this market, I can help you!
