Revitalization is the hope of every old city. Charleston is being rehabbed every day.

There are historic homes with strict planning and zoning laws required to restore them while others have been preserved over their 200 plus year lifespan. The South of Broad homes of the wealthy are not the only homes getting restored. Other areas of the Charleston Peninsula are being rehabbed as well. There are little pockets or subdivisions that have new owners hoping to enjoy the revitalization of their neighborhoods as well. Even the parks are taken care of by the Charleston Parks Conservancy
