Christmas at The Ponds - What Fun!

While it may have been a bummer of a year overall, The Ponds celebrated The Christmas Holiday in a big way.

First was the annual Christmas Parade of decorated golf carts and classic vehicles, trailed by a pickup truck that neighbors filled with toys for the Toys For Tots campaign. Next was a scavenger hunt that kept kids and adults busy and roaming the Ponds Community for hours.

Because the year was depressing for so many, the HOA gave an early ok to decorate with holiday lights, and it seemed almost everyone took it to heart! The folks were really creative and added to previous displays as the season progressed. Viewers could travel several blocks in a row with every house illuminated. Visitors wanting to look at lights went no further than Hundred Oaks Boulevard and some side streets, taking pictures and chatting with homeowners tending to their displays or walking dogs. Always a very friendly place, there was extra energy this year as we all needed to get out of the house and do something special and fun. A great success!
