Blog > Did you do this during the 2020 Pandemic?
Quarantine, lockdown, social distancing...we're all doing it. Across the country, people are keeping their distance, wearing masks, and missing family members. And all the while essential workers are going above and beyond.
During difficult times it's hard to look at the bright side but it helps get us through one day at a time. Thinking outside the box is a must too. Helping neighbors and just 'meeting neighbors' is happening more now. We're not in this alone.
I noticed on Facebook, some communities were having a social distancing event...a type of food truck. It's an ice cream type truck that drives through the neighborhood selling ice cream, ice pops as well as adult, alcohol-infused ice cream and ice pops. Perfect!
There are quite a few different companies out there providing this service so I contacted SnoBar and had us added to their calendar. I notified my subdivision that on a certain day and time the truck would be in our neighborhood.
Well, it was a big hit! Everyone was out in front of their homes early in anticipation. The truck stopped, served, and drove a bit then stopped served and drove a bit more. Everyone was happy, kids and adults alike. It was a nice little break from the same old routine.
I hope you and your family and friends stay safe from this terrible virus.
As far as real estate goes, you may not think your home will sell, I think outside the box for advertising and marketing, getting it in front of as many potential buyers as possible. You may not think you can own a home. You may not think you can own two homes and rent one out. You can always count on me to help you think outside the box and zero in on YourHomeInCharleston!
