Enjoy the Beach!

If you haven't noticed, it's getting darker earlier, the kids are back in school and we're still enjoying wonderfully warm temperatures in the Lowcountry.  

When was the last time you went to the beach?  

Some locals make a daily visit to the beach.  Some take their dogs early morning or in the evening when the dogs can be 'off leash'.  All the beaches, Folly, Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms all post their rules for pets and general safety.  Whether you like to sit with your toes in the sand or walk with your feet in the water, the beach is a great place to enjoy some 'me time'.  

You have your choice of beaches with restaurants and souvenir shops or you can easily find a spot that makes you feel like you're on your own island. 

There are beaches around the country that have to pay for daily beach clean up - not in Charleston - residents and visitors take pride and clean up after themselves and their pets. Take advantage of the natural resource, one of the many reasons to live in Charleston.
