The Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park
The complex consists of a playpark, running and walking trails, a huge lawn area, and the 1250-foot long Mount Pleasant Pier which stretches out into Charleston Harbor under the foot of the Ravenel Bridge.
At the end of the Pier is an 8,100-square-foot covered pavilion
The Pier hosts dances and many local events. During any day, one can see people walking along the pier, or just relaxing on one of the many benches, or sitting and waiting for a fish or a crab to bite!
Yes, fishing at the Pier is awesome and a beautiful pastime.
There are plenty of species living in the Copper River. Please refer to the chart I put here for you on display.
There is also a little shop for gifts and souvenirs, made-to-order sandwiches, ice cream, fruit smoothies, tackle, and rod rental and more. At the Pier, one finds swings, picnic tables, and rocking chairs.
Does this put you in the mood to check it out and call Mount Pleasant “home” !? Enjoy “fishing” for the right house in Mount Pleasant on my website: www.DefinitelyCharleston.com
