Everyone all over the country, at some point in their lives, dreams of owning their own home. It's like a right of passage. When you're a child you 'pretend' and 'imagine'. Of course, different towns demand different rental and home buying prices. However, there are many subdivisions in Summerville, Moncks Corner etc. where you can buy a BRAND NEW HOME for that monthly payment! And to top that, there are loans in some of those rural areas that don't require a downpayment, namely, a USDA loan.
