Festival of Houses and Gardens
Have you ever wondered what the inside of some of Charleston’s grandest homes look like? Have you ever wanted to peek around the brick walls and fences behind these houses to see what's there? Now is your chance! Charleston’s annual Festival of Houses & Gardens runs from March 11 - April 18, 2020. This is the 73rd year the Historic Charleston Foundation is providing you a rare glimpse into some of the private homes and gardens in downtown Charleston.
The House and Garden tours offer 12 different tours, broken up into neighborhoods, in the old and historic parts of Charleston. Each neighborhood focuses on a street and includes 8-10 private residences you can tour. Some streets on the tour include Meeting, Church, Broad, King, Legare, Wentworth, Rutledge Ave, and East and South Battery.
Do you love the history, architecture, and beauty of Charleston, South Carolina? Come to the Festival of Houses and Gardens tours and step beyond the grand doorways and secret garden gates of some of the gorgeous and historic homes in town.
