The I'On neighborhood of Mount Pleasant is more than a private community of elegant homes; it also offers some of the top dining spots in the Charleston area. If you are looking for gourmet food in an intimate atmosphere, then look no further than the Shellmore restaurant. Currently open for take-out, you can enjoy a five-star meal while supporting local business.

     

Known for their oysters, The Shellmore also offers a variety of shellfish, meats, pastas, and small plates. On Saturdays, take out lunch is offered, featuring a delicious selection of sandwiches and salads. Be sure to try the shrimp salad sandwich when available, menu items change daily.

     

The Shellmore is located at 357 N Shelmore Blvd. They are open for take-out Tue-Fri 5-7pm and on Saturday 12-6pm for carryout lunch. When the restaurant reopens, stop by their fabulous happy hour for half-price oysters and $5.00 glasses of wine.
