Here is the third and final installment in my series on Pawleys Island; I hope you've enjoyed it! Week 1, I gave you the history of how the town all began. Week 2, I gave you some insight into a significant part of history. This week we will fast forward to the present day, as we look at NEW CONSTRUCTION! (I'm thinking this may need to be another 3-part series of its own!)
I have 3 new communities that I visited that I want to share with you.
The first is a Condo Community called The Village at Pawleys Island, conveniently located off Highway 17. I have honestly never seen such an open floor plan in a condo! All units are 1277 Sq Ft, whether they are a 2-Bed, 2-Bath or 3-Bed, 2-Bath. There are 10 units currently on the market ranging in price from $198,400-$213,400. Next on our list, we stop at a DR Horton Community, Hammock Cove. It is tucked away off Petigru Rd, far from the Highway 17 traffic.
Being such a large builder, they have several homes already built or Under Construction for a quick move-in! There are 27 FLOORPLANS to choose from, including 1 and 2-story ranch and traditional-style homes. They run the gamut of 3-bedroom, 2-baths to 5-bedroom, 3-baths. Prices range from $273,500-$343,500. Last, but certainly not least, is Clambake Cove.
This is my particular favorite, and I have a very excited Buyer getting her dream home built in there as you read this! They are off 17, but tucked away enough where you don't hear road noise. Clambake Cove is a series of 2 and 3-level Raised Beach Homes with coastal charm! They have a "reverse floorplan" where the main living area and Master are upstairs, and the guest bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs. It is a local builder, which means they don't mass produce, and you may have a waiting period for your house to be built.
