It's Spring in Charleston...List your house!

It's February in Charleston and that means it's time to list your home for SALE!  Yes, Spring comes early in Charleston, SC.  

There are a few reasons to list early or should I say, before your neighbor lists!  The supply of homes for sale/on the market is still low. However, the number of buyers actively looking for a home is quite high.  It's all about supply and demand.  When there are few homes for the buyers to 'shop', they know they have to make their 'best' offer.  If you wait until 'everyone' lists in March you'll have buyers going from one house to another making lowball offers.

The other factor is the rising interest rates.  You'll be able to sell for a higher price before the rates go too high.  When the rates rise the buyers are looking for lower priced homes.  It makes sense for you as a seller too, epecially if you're going to be buying another home.
