Beach Living - Happiness for the Whole Family

As a Realtor, I tend to 'browse' the MLS in search of my dream home. I don't know what my dream home would consist of but like most people, I like to look. We're currently living in Mt. Pleasant in a small subdivision that doesn't have an HOA and is less than two miles to Sullivan's Island. We're enjoying every bit of those perks!

We've lived in a larger subdivision and enjoyed it while we were there. Since then we purchased a home in Downtown Charleston and loved it! It was great to walk to parks, restaurants, and shopping. It was a wonderful sense of community, which we didn't expect to experience being in a city. Because the area is walkable, we'd meet new people and get to know our neighbors. Almost unheard of in some neighborhoods now.

Now that we're living so near the beach...we're intrigued with the beach life. We can go to the beach for 20 minutes or the day because we're so close. We love the relaxed living, flip flops, the sound of the ocean and our dog Bubba loves the beach! We've been in Charleston for 10 years and we've had Bubba for 4 of those years now. If you haven't noticed, Charleston is very pet-friendly. You do need a license for your dog to go onto the beach on Sullivan's Island. I just heard today that there were over 2500 dog licenses issued and there are only 1800 permanent residents of Sullivan's Island!

I'd love to help you find your next home wherever it may be in Charleston, Berkeley or Dorchester County. I can help you zero in on YourHomeInCharleston.com
