The people who are lucky enough to call Charleston home have many reasons to be the Friendliest Residents. First and foremost is the fact that it's been rated the Friendliest City for years now. Second and third is the fact that they can be on a number of free beaches or in Downtown Charleston in a matter of minutes. Not lastly, but for this blog post, I'll call it lastly is the fact that you can buy a brand new home in the desirable town of Mount Pleasant for under $500,000. 

Yes, there's a lot of new construction in the greater Charleston area. Yes, there are all price-points. You can go into the millions in certain locations. You can spend as little as $200,000 for a new build in certain locations. But, in Mount Pleasant under $500k for new construction was unheard of!

Into Charleston comes, K. Hovnanian, with an 'agrihood' sustainable neighborhood called Pinckney Farm. There are different models to choose from with some being quick move-ins. Starting prices in the $400s.

Side note: they also have a 55 and better community in Summerville, SC starting in the $200s.
