Blog > MT. PLEASANT MALL - A LOCAL TREASURE TROVE!
When you’re in need of something a little “Charleston” for your home, I have the perfect place, Mt Pleasant Mall off of Hwy 17 will have what you’re looking for. Whether it be a housewarming gift or something to make your own home a little more beachy, you’ll find it there.
If you’ve recently moved to the Mount Pleasant area and want to find something that makes your home fit right in with the area, you will find amazing options at Mt. Pleasant Mall, from lighting to kitchen towels and artwork. They have it all. If you’ve lived here for years and have never taken the time to stop, you won’t regret it. The store is one of those resale and antique co-op places, but this one has tons of new items as well. This store is laid out with most of the newer items to the right when you walk in, and the antique and resale items tend to be to the left. I always stop in thinking I am going to quickly look for one thing, and it never happens. I always spend more than an hour there and find several items I want, so when you go, make sure you have planned for an hour or more, you’ll be glad you did.
To give you an idea of what you can find there, I picked some of my favorites to share.

Here you can see the coolest sweetgrass necklace and just a couple of the many items vendors use oyster shells in. One of the items that would make a great housewarming gift is the oyster palm welcome sign sold by White Cotton Crafts for $75. In the next photo, you can see all of the perfect housewarming gifts I found to have on hand, |
and I had to mail my best friend these dish towels by Venning House! | ![]() |
This store, of course, has antique and refinished furniture as well, and don’t forget to look up where you’ll find some of today's trending light fixtures, like these two sold by Veranda.
You need to visit in person to truly appreciate this store. You can shop over 135 vendors and women-owned businesses in one store, so stop in, and I guarantee you will find something that makes your home feel like Charleston! If you live in South Mt. Pleasant, you’re right around the corner from this treasure trove, so don’t wait another minute. It’s off of Johnnie Dodds just north of Houston Northcutt. Give me a call on your way, and I’ll meet you there. I’m always looking for an excuse to visit.
