   CHARLESTON : a city full of history and live music ! 

Charleston is alive not only with history but also with a wide array of music and in particular blues and jazz. A brand new music venue just opened on King Street and it will be the place to go for all lovers of jazz. The venue is called FORTE JAZZ LOUNGE www.fortejazzlounge.com. My friend Joe Clarke opened it. For many years, I had followed him and his big band performances playing and singing the tunes of Frank Sinatra.

Dedicated strictly to live jazz, the lounge will feature two live performances every Thursday-Saturday night, with shows at 7 and 9:30 p.m.
