If you love good food and/or wine, you have to check out Savi Cucina and Wine Bar. My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner at Savi, and it was absolutely perfect. My mom still requests to go back when she is in town. My husband and I love being wine club members as well. In this post I will focus on the restaurant side of this amazing place.  Next month I will highlight the wine bar and wine club side of Savi.

The restaurant at Savi is truly one of my favorites. It’s named after the owners' grandmother, and there is a photo of Savi in the wine bar. The owners are there most nights checking in with guests and making sure everything is running smoothly. They are both wonderful people. There is definitely an emphasis on good wine at Savi. When you enter, you will see a beautiful wine tower full of amazing wines. Their Sommelier (Wine steward) is always happy to help you select a wine that pairs well with your meal. If you can’t decide from the long list of wines, you can choose a wine flight and try a little of a few different fabulous wines. They also have a full bar if wine isn’t your forte. However, if you don’t like wine, we probably can’t be friends. Just kidding, I love you anyway, but I will likely choose to forget that fact about you.

Now on to the food. Savi makes all their pasta and most of their cheese in-house. You will be given some delicious bread and olive oil to enjoy as your selecting your food. I have had a few different things at Savi and have never been disappointed. Their Shrimp Carbonara is one of my favorites, and their Scallops are some of the best I have ever had. They have a few different seasonal items that are always changing and always look delicious. If you are a dessert person, you won’t be disappointed. Their selection makes it really hard to choose just one, and they usually have seasonal desserts as well. The tiramisu cheesecake was excellent.

If you are looking for a nice restaurant that isn’t too fancy but absolutely delicious and sure to be a wonderful experience, check out Savi Cucina and Wine Bar. If you like wine, don’t forget to enjoy a fabulous glass or flight with your meal.
