With so many people looking for a more rural option than Charleston or James Island, John's Island is the news HOT SPOT! There is still plenty of room to build, and I had the opportunity to visit 2 new communities lately with a Buyer looking for more land and space. Both are off the beaten path and away from the business of Maybank Highway.

The first new community we visited was The Isles, a Boutique Neighborhood off of Main Rd from Rising Tides Homes. It is comprised of only 7 1+ Acre lots, including 1 home completed and move-in ready. There are 2 cleared lots with floorplans already set but are still customizable. The rest of the lots are still for sale with the option to have a complete custom build. The homes are 2200-2800 Square Feet and range in price from $474-$525,000.

The second community was Martins Place by Crescent Homes. Also, just a few turns off Main Rd, Martins Place is a 5 Lot Gated Community. There is only 1 home currently under construction, but not priced yet. It is a beautiful 1-story open floorplan with several large outdoor patios for entertaining. All the lots are for sale, and the Builder can do custom builds on any of the other 4 sites. All these 1-Acre lots are available for $135,000.
