+ 16 years old and valid drivers license
+ drive only during daylight hours
+ 4 miles radius from registered residence
+ DMV registration/decal
+ liability insurance
+ same laws apply as for all motor vehicles
+ no alcohol
+ ok to drive on secondary roads with speed limit of 35 mph or less
+ cross over main roads only during daylight hours
