You've now taken the step most others haven't - you're listing your home in a COVID environment. And kudos to you! Now is a great time to sell as inventory is scarce, and buyers are plentiful.

Here are a few tips and tricks to get your home sold fast for top dollar while ensuring the safety and comfort of yourself and potential buyers:

  1. If possible, move out of your home. This negates the need to continually sanitize after showings and protects you and your family from outside traffic. If that's not a possibility, then leave during tours to increase everyone's comfort level.
  2. This applies to any sale and environment - make sure all potential buyers are serious about placing an offer by requiring loan pre-qualification before the showing.
  3. Adapt to today's social distancing guidelines by offering live virtual tours.
  4. Provide hand sanitizer and bleach wipes at the entryway for all in-person visits. To minimize touching, turn on all lights and open doors. Finally, disinfect the home after each showing.
