Cypress Gardens - A beautiful place to socially distance
Over the weekend, I decided to get out and explore some of what Berkley County has to offer. In Moncks Corner, Cypress Gardens is back open. This is a place where you can enjoy nature and keep a distance from others during these trying times. The park has been renovated since the flood destroyed it several years ago.
Some of the main attractions are the Butterfly House, Swamp Boat Adventures, Swamparium, and the gardens itself. I found walking around the butterfly house relaxing and a great opportunity to capture some of the photos I have on this post.
The Swamp Boat Adventure allows you to sail in the swaps surrounding the park. You can rent private rentals or go in groups. From what I was told is that when sailing around, you can see some of the alligators in the open. Inside the Swamparium, there are various fish, reptiles, and amphibians from the local swamps.
The Gardens are growing in all areas of the park in various stages of life. Overall, you can go to this park and enjoy a couple of hours or a full day taking in the trails and various attractions. Enjoy the pictures, and I’m looking forward to your comments.
For more information on the park, you can visit them HERE.
Once you have visited come back and post some pictures and your thoughts on the park.
