One of Mount Pleasant's best-hidden treasures is the quaint and charming neighborhood cafe, Square Onion. This little known, corner sandwich shop located in I'On, is home to some of the best gourmet sandwiches in the Low Country. They also offer an array of soups, salads, and mouth-watering desserts.

     

When dining at the Square Onion, be sure to try one of their fresh, made to order sandwiches. The Meredith, a local favorite, features Turkey and brie cheese with cranberry horseradish, tomato, and lettuce on focaccia. If you're in the mood for dessert, Square Onion has the only walk-up ice cream window in Mount Pleasant. Stop by for a tasty sundae, cup or cone, milkshake, float or ice cream sandwich.

The Square Onion is located at 18 Resolute Lane in I'On. They are open Mon-Fri from 10:30-6:30pm and Sat 10:30-4:30pm.
