Middleton Place is Magnificent

As a recently engaged Realtor, I've got to be a tourist in my own city, looking at some extraordinary Wedding Venues. Middleton Place has always been one of my favorite historic landmarks, home to the Oldest Landscaped Gardens in America! You are instantly greeted by the Spanish Moss waving at you from the Grand Oaks.

Continue in and get lost in a maze of gardens, including wedding hot spots such as the Octagonal Garden and Butterfly Garden. Then stop at the Stableyard to say hi to the bison or participate in cow milking! Get a beautiful panoramic view of the Plantation House and go inside for a guided tour to learn more about the Middleton Family. And I highly suggest ending your day with a Classic Lowcountry dinner at the Middleton Place Restaurant (try the Smoked Pork Croquettes)!

I this is more your scene than the bustling Downtown Charleston life, 5 miles down the road is beautiful Shadowmoss Plantation. Even though it's a large Subdivision with 9 Neighborhoods, it still keeps its feel of an Original Plantation, with winding woods, fields, ponds, and streams. Residents can also enjoy the Shadomoss Plantation Golf Club, which features lush Bermuda fairways and dense Oak and Hickory Forests. With approximately 1100 Homes, Shadowmoss offers possibilities for a wide range of potential buyers, from first time home buyers and families with kids to upscale professionals and retirees.

Prices range from the $170s to over $775,000. Click HERE to see what's available. Call me if you are interested in Shadowmoss or any other Charleston Area Communities! 843-410-7871
