Sullivan’s Island is waiting for you!

When considering whether or not to live somewhere, it’s important to spend some time in that place to get a real feel for the community. Here’s a little snapshot of the Sullivan’s Island nightlife from a recent date night with my husband. It’s worth noting that each of these places has taken steps to maintain customer safety by ensuring staff are wearing masks at all times, enforcing the use of masks by customers when not able to distance, and have spaced out seating options available. 

Obstinate Daughter

The food’s delicious, and if you decide to make this your dinner spot, I highly recommend the Ricotta Gnocchi with short rib ragu and horseradish gremolata. I’ll be honest, I get so excited about eating it that I forget to snap a picture each time, lol. It’s that good.

Dips and a beer… a great combo.

Hometeam BBQ

While I love their nachos, we stuck with good ol’ BBQ for this date night.

Poe’s Tavern

We sat at the bar surrounded by taped off sections that ensure all are socially distant from one another. The fire keeps you super cozy, and bartenders offer good conversation.

Dunleavy’s Pub

In my humble opinion, this is the Cheers of Sullivan’s Island. Did you watch Cheers? I loved that show. At Dunleavy’s, we watched sports while laughing at locals who razzed one another. There’s a real ease here, and it won’t disappoint. It was a great spot to end the night!
