SWEETGRASS - old neighborhood and new discovered!

The neighborhood SWEETGRASS off Rifle Range Road in Mount Pleasant was established in 1989. It is a tree-lined neighborhood with about 250 homes of various sizes and designs. The location is very central. Just a few minutes across the IOP connector to Isle of Palms or to Sullivans Island. A quick 15 min drive across the longest stayed bridge to the historic city of Charleston. And walking distance to restaurants, cafes, retail shops, and groceries. Even a few golf courses are close by.

So, for anyone moving into this neighborhood, one can be assured to have a most comfortable location and established surroundings.

Sweetgrass is, by the way, an indigenous bulrush that is strong but supple. It grows in the sandy soil of the Lowcountry. Sweetgrass baskets have become a price and favorite souvenir.

All that said, Sweetgrass neighborhood is definitely a great choice to make it your new home community and neighborhood. I have one house listed right now at 1934 Oak Tree Lane. 1934 Oak Tree Lane Mount Pleasant SC 29464. This home is all renovated, has a beautifully updated kitchen. Sitting on the screened back porch, one can enjoy the view to a very nice pond in a park-like setting.
