The Ponds - Nature Conservancy and a Great Place to Live!

The Ponds is a Nature Conservancy community in Summerville, SC 30 minutes from Charleston, and close to the airport, Volvo, Boeing, and most importantly, the beaches.

It has miles of trails, great fishing, and kayaking, a beautiful pool, YMCA, athletic field, an amphitheater with summer concerts, with a very welcoming, active community. Fireworks, parades, food trucks,5k races, youth triathlon all happen here. Talks on environmental presentations and the history of The Ponds and the area are given at the Farmhouse Community Center. It's a busy place, with hiking, biking, and walkers, with and without their dogs.
