The South Carolina Dance and Music

The saying is.... "the living is easy"..and it indeed is here in the Low Country. Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, Isle of Palms, Sullivans Island, Folly Beach and many other small communities are located in this area. Music and dancing is alive and one can find it any day in large and small venues. A must learn is to dance the "Shag", a simple dance to beach music and where the men do all the fancy footwork and the ladies are putting on their smiles and charm and dance and dance ! And then of course, there is the Blues and the Jazz and all kind of different live music in small and large venues. Having a home d'town is a must have at least once in a lifetime.
