Blog > Top 5 To- Go Places n Mt Pleasant
In no particular order and for many different reasons, here are some of my favorites to-go spots in Mt P. These places have been keeping me going through the Quarantine.
1. Vintage Coffe & Coastal Crust Pizza
I love Coastal Crust for its pizza, but also for its unique outdoor atmosphere that has been very conducive during the pandemic.
Vintage also shares an adorable outdoor patio ad they have set up "to-go" coffee stand on their front steps. When I don't feel like sitting in the Starbucks drive-through for 45 minutes, I swing by Vintage for my Iced Almond Milk Honey Latte and Acai Bowl.
(I know, boogie)
2. Grace & Grit and the Grit Counter
Although you can't get takeout directly, you can still enjoy the Grit Counter for lunch and dinner. I would highly recommend one of their Grit Bowls. You can get one of their concoctions or create-your-own bowl with such grit flavors as Apple Pie, Pimento, or Smoked Pecan & Maple.
3. Tres Palmas Acai
BEST ACAI BOWLS in Charleston. They also have Smoothies, Smoothie Bowls, and Poke Bowls. I would highly recommend the ChcoBowl or PB&B Bowl to satisfy your sweet tooth.
4. Metto Coffee
Yes, I'm putting another coffee shop on here. I need multiple options went the Starbucks drive-through is 45 minutes long! Also obsessed with their Almond Milk Honey Lattes as well as their gluten-free, homemade muffins. Not to mention, this one has the convenience of a drive-through (which is never too long)
5. Mex 1
To be honest, I have been going to the Sullivan's Island location, simply because if you pre-order food and show your receipt, they let you on the Island (our little secret). The Froese and Frozen Margaritas have been getting me through the Dog Days of
COVID-19. Their tacos are inexpensive and delicious and you get a giant bag of chips and salsa to-go!
