Blog > Walk to Neighborhood Restaurants
One of the best parts of living in a small subdivision is the fact that there's no through, commercial traffic. You enjoy the fact that your kids can safely play in the street, your dogs don't always have to be on a leash and anyone visiting you has no problem finding a place to park.
An even better reason to live in a small subdivision is when it's within walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, and pharmacies. There are such neighborhoods. There are a few that are also within a bike ride to the beach.
The restaurants and retail shops that I'm writing about today are the Shops at Oyster Park. It's a section along Ben Sawyer Boulevard. The grocery store is Publix and the restaurants consist of Bon Banh Mi, My Father's Moustache, Kid Cashew, Steel City Pizza, Stacks Coastal Kitchen and Coorg Indian Cafe. After dinner, you can stop in TCBY for dessert and then walk off the calories on your trip home. There are also retail shops such as Monkee's, Karen's Korner, De Lux Nails, and CVS.
