CHANGES in the neighborhood !
So, there is this very well established neighborhood called Harborgate Shores off Rifle Range Road. This neighborhood is marked with a simple sign. Turning here, one finds mostly ranch style brick homes, large yards, lots of trees and green space. A neighborhood probably long forgotten because full and established. Unless you live here, one would not turn to take a look. But I did one day and what a surprise ! The fence at the end of the neighborhood was gone and one finds a beautiful new neighborhood on the marsh. The neighborhood is called THE OAKS.. Amazing views, oak trees and ponds are part of this neighborhood where 53 elevated homes will be built with 2,400 sqft and up with 3 to 5 br's and prices starting at $700,000 plus lot premiums depending which site one prefers. Features include 10' ceilings. soaking tub, etc. The list of standard features is extensive and impressive !
Looking for a home in a new and exciting neighborhood, here or anywhere in Mt. Pleasant or greater Charleston area ?! I know my way around. Look at other new neighborhoods I wrote about: changes-in-neighborhood-from-dumpster-area-to-town-home-village and changes-in-neighborhood-mobile-homes-to-luxury-town-houses.
