The Piccolo Spoleto Craft Show is back!,Christy Siegling

Piccolo Spoleto Festival - A Charleston MUST ATTEND!  For 42 years, this craft show has been a stand-out in our Charleston community. I can recall wandering the rows of makers and loving the vibrancy of it all as a child as I still do today. The craft show is just one part of the Piccolo Spoleto Festival! If you’ve never been, I sure hope you’ll make an effort to stop by this year, and I’ve included a few tips below for how to make your outing extra special.  Although it will feel a bit different post-covid, I’m so pleased to celebrate its return. Annual events are important to our culture here in the Lowcountry. Whether it’s an oyster roast, a fundraiser, or larger events like SEWE… these events are something we hold dear and look forward to for months prior. Charleston Crafts, a longstanding art cooperative downtown, hosts the Wragg Square Craft Show and works to ensure artists highlight handcrafted with a high level of artistry. Wragg Square is located at 342 Meeting Street on the front lawn of 2nd Presbyterian Church. It’s also just a short walk across the street for additional artists who will be showcasing their works in Marion Square Park. To make it an extra special day, after you enjoy all the art goodness head to Hotel Bennett for La Patisserie Charleston located on the first floor with an entrance on King Street. Yum! If you cannot make it in person, you can always support local artists by shopping www.shopcharlestoncrafts.com  Even though today’s blog is a departure from real estate, I always welcome any real estate questions. I’d be happy to share my local knowledge with you! Call me today at 843-810-4905 or SieglingChristy@gmail.com or www.CreateTodayWithChristy.com
