  • Family Fun That Won't Break The Budget

Family Fun That Won't Break The Budget,Jacob Cox

Were you looking for a fun activity to do with family or friends? The answer might be something you drive over every day; let me explain. A few days ago, one of my friends had the bright idea to do a brunch on the bridge and while I was a little hesitant at first, it turned out to be a lot of fun. We picked up brunch from a local restaurant on the way, and off we were. While the walk to the lookout points on the bridge can seem intimidating, it's an enjoyable activity and doesn't take as long as you would think to achieve. We took out food and some water and made the hike over to the first lookout point. I highly recommend bringing water with you as the weather can be unpredictable and might get hot. All in all, this was a great experience. And I was happy to catch up with friends I hadn't seen in a while.    Can we see your dream home from the bridge? Call me today and we can find out! • New Hangout On Daniel Island - The Dime

New Hangout On Daniel Island - The Dime,Jacob Cox

If you are anything like me, sometimes you like to get out of the house or office to do your work, and I have found the best coffee shop at; The Dime on Daniel Island. This place has it all - from hospitality to waterfront views, and their coffee is nothing to sleep on either. The shop has a fantastic small-town feeling that is warm and inviting. You can tell the shop owners take a lot of pride in their work and the Island. The Dime owners spared no expense on the facility to make it an extremely comfortable workspace; they also incorporated some incredible photographs from the surrounding area and a master plan of the Island's new expansion for guests to view. Next time you find yourself looking for a new remote workspace, I highly recommend giving them a try. Better yet, give me a call, and we can collaborate! Jacob Cox - 864-617-0297

  • Hidden Gems Around Charleston - Part 1

Hidden Gems Around Charleston - Part 1,Jacob Cox

Hey guys! This is my first blog post, so I thought I would share one of my local secrets. Upppon first moving to Charleston, I didn't comprehend how unique a city it was or how lucky I was to live there and attend school there. After living here a few years, I am still finding new local businesses and unique places I have yet to explore/experience. Over my next few blog post, I will be diving into some of my favorite places in and around the city and sharing them with you! For this blog post, I want to tell you about one of my favorite areas right outside downtown, Sullivan's Island. From the laidback lifestyle to the sweet people that live there, Sullivan's Island is truly a gem, and it's only a few minutes away from the charming streets of downtown. Even with the shops, bars, and restaurants the Island offers, I would have to say my favorite place on the Island, and one of my favorite areas of all time is right at the end of the Island. If you take the main road to the end of the Island just as the pavement ends and the dirt road begins, you will find the most charming and peaceful stretches of beach I have ever seen. No matter how long or stressful of a day (and I think we all had those days in 2020), there's something about this section of the beach that makes it all okay, and if you ever find yourself on Sullivans around sunset, I would highly recommend going there to watch it. There is truly nothing like catching a Charleston sunset on Sullivan's Island. Call me today to get the scoop on the best spots to go. I'm here for all your real estate needs.
