James Island Crab House is absolutely our favorite restaurant - the water view is beautiful so peaceful, the service is great, and for a treat, I love the hush puppies. Still, my favorite thing altogether is their Dungeness crab legs. OMG, they're tender and succulent. Plan on getting messy; they are a lot of work but worth it. We love going there; it is a special occasion place for us.             Whenever we have family coming to town or friends, we always take them to the crab house on James Island. Everyone enjoys their meal. The seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection, and the restaurant is exceptionally clean -I also like that they have social distancing in place, which makes me feel good. It is so nice just sitting alongside the River. There is an open bar outside with seating and indoor seating as well with windows everywhere great view of the River. It is a local favorite, and they accept a party of eight, and that's what we did celebrating a birthday. The food is really delicious.
