Escape the city and go on a day trip! I am a full-time realtor and stay pretty busy, especially now in this time of change. There are not many days which I spend just doing nothing. Most of the time, I am working with sellers and buyers to take care of their real estate needs in the Greater Charleston area. I love what I do, but it was time to take a little break.       So, I had seen this ad from Captain Rod's Lowcountry Tours on social media a few times, and said to myself, one day, when I have time, I will go on this excursion, but there was never the time or some excuse not to go. But then I sat down one evening and booked the ticket for a daytime excursion to Winyah Bay, near Georgetown, just about an hour away from Charleston. Wow, what a paradise I discovered. Winyah Bay is the 4th largest estuary on the East Coast of the United States. I could write pages and pages about it, and so please look it up on Wikipedia! You will be surprised how much history has developed there at Winyah Bay So amazing, so interesting.             I can only say, pack a little backpack and some snacks and make this day trip.
