Charleston Pups Have it Great!,Jacob Cox

Charleston is one of America’s most dog-friendly cities. Whether you live south of broad or in the upper section of the peninsula, there are bound to be activities or parks for you and your furry friend right outside your door. My favorite place to spend time with my pup is the East Bay Dog Park on South Adger’s Wharf. Surrounded by historical manors and the shoreline, it’s the perfect place to spend the afternoon with your furry friend. Here are some other fun places for you and your pup. Charleston Calendar of Events,Donna Andreano

Whether you're visiting Charleston or if you're lucky enough to live here, there is always something to do!  You will have to mark your calendar for the events you'd like to attend.  There are some weekends with so much going on unfortunately, you simply 'can't do it all'.   There are Festivals: Moja Arts, Latin, Mac 'n Cheese and plenty of OYSTER Festivals. If you're in shape, you can do a Walk, Run or Marathon, all for a good cause.  There are HIstoric Tours of Churches, Plantations, Homes and Gardens. Don't worry, you don't have to leave Fido home alone all day.  Many of the events are pet friendly and some are specifically for dogs! You can view the full calendar of events here:  http://www.sciway.net/tourism/charleston-events.html If you decide you no longer want to just visit Charleston and want to see what the real estate market looks like, you can view homes, locations and prices on my website:  www.yourhomeincharleston.com.              Donna Andreano Realtor, CNE Realtor of Distinction AgentOwned Realty - Preferred Group Mobile 843-256-3348 Fax 843-725-6672 DonnaA@AgentOwnedRealty.com www.YourHomeInCharleston.com

  • My Top 3 Doggie Hot Spots

My Top 3 Doggie Hot Spots,Elissa Campbell

Here are the three best doggie play parks in Charleston: 1.  James Island County ParkMy #1 recommendation, your dogs will never want to leave!  Situated in James Island County Park, this is the Dog Park Mecca!  There is both a Small and Large Dog section.  Then it opens up to over 4 Acres of running freedom for your pup with picnic tables and benches for their humans.  It then opens up to a giant lake where dogs can swim and splash to their heart's content!   2. Dog Park behind Alahambra Hall, Mt PleasantThis beautiful space on the Marsh looks like Doggie Heaven!  It is not fenced in, but not like your dog is going to want to leave this place! It is behind the Historic Alhambra Hall in the  Old Village, also a beautiful venue for weddings and other social events!   3.  Pitt St Bridge and Pickett Park, Mt PleasantThe Pitt Street Bridge, builtin 1898 used to be the bridge connecting Sullivan's Island and Mt Pleasant.  Most of the bridge has burned, and the existing section is now a great fishing pier.  It opens up to Picket Park, where you can walk your pups, let them roll in the grass, or snuggle on a bench and enjoy the view of the Ravenel Bridge!          Elissa Campbell  elissa.campbell@agentownedrealty.com Cell: 603-540-7242
