    Many people think they can sell their home on their own, without a licensed Realtor.  It's possible but you will most likely waste time and possibly 'miss the market' besides the fact that your buyer pool is extremely limited.  When you list a home with me, an experienced Realtor, you don't have to fill out the piles of documents, you don't have to keep a calendar for scheduling inspections, you can't really 'qualify' a buyer to be sure they can afford your home and you don't have to sit home for a buyer who doesn't show up for a showing appointment or worse, let strangers into your home.
