This gorgeous city has always been a mecca for foodies with new restaurants opening all the time, challenging the old guard classic restaurants. And in 2023, we are seeing a lot of new recreation/entertainment venues. Top Golf in North Charleston opened earlier this year and is already a hot spot. Plan ahead for reservations to enjoy a team or family outing. Crush Yard is a new Pickleball Club and Restaurant opening soon in Mount Pleasant. Urban Air Adventure Park promises to be a mega fun park opening in North Charleston with trampolines, warrior and ropes courses, Go Karts, bowling and laser tag. Mix is opening soon on Coleman Blvd in Mount Pleasant to offer duckpin bowling, an arcade, and ax throwing among other activities. Back are also many arts and music events and here are just a few ideas: Spoleto Festival USA - May 26-June 11 Dancing on the Cooper in Mount Pleasant Moonlight Mixer on Folly Beach Concerts at Credit One Stadium on Daniel Island: Dave Matthews Band (June 2/3), Eric Church (June 29/30), Chris Stapleton (July 13), Counting Crows (August 2), Slightly Stoopid, Sublime with Rome (August 3), and Jason Aldean (August 4th) There is a new shopping center “The Bend at Carolina Park” (Mount Pleasant), and many new businesses: including: The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill; Front Porch Coffee and and BKeDSHoP Bakery.
